Supplies - Derwent Graphitint Pencils

Finally I found an excuse to invest in the full set of 24 Derwent Graphitint Pencils - perfect for all that sketchbook work for my textiles course!

Graphitint are (as the name suggests) tinted graphite pencils, which can be used dry and wet in the same way as watercolour pencils, but because they are graphite based the colour range is muted and earthy - just my kind of thing. I decided to try them out and make myself a handy little colour chart for reference. As you can see the colours brighten/deepen with the addition of water. Can't wait to use these in my new sketchbook!
