Stitched - French Knot Sample

I have just started on a sample of French knot stitch, using blue threads and yarns in a variety of thickness and shades of colour. I've taken inspiration and guidance from one of my favourite embroidery books - Stitches: New Approaches by Jan Beaney (see a full review here). I am planning to extend the little patch of knots a bit further and then to try my hand at the other variations, too.
