I greatly admire vintage and antique handcrafted Japanese pieces, and I'd love to be collecting everything! Like most people I don't have unlimited money or space, so I focus my passion on fabrics (particularly handwoven tsumugi silks) and ceramics (particularly kogos). Kogos are little containers/boxes, measuring usually around 2 - 2 1/2 inches, designed to hold incense which is used for tea ceremony. Their small size and varied shapes make them wonderful and affordable to collect! I am drawn to pieces which are inspired by nature, and here you can see some of my favourite kogos.
